Celiac Disease, weight issues and the glycemic index

Why is it so hard to maintain my ideal weight?
Could lowering the risk of
heart disease, diabetes, cancer and stabilizing your weight be affected by
understanding the glycemic index?

The Glycemic index (GI) is a numerical
scale that indicates how fast and how high certain foods can raise your blood
glucose (sugar) levels.

This knowledge can help you prevent heart
disease, improve cholesterol levels, prevent insulin resistance, type-2
diabetes, prevent certain cancers and achieve or maintain a healthy

Fact: Whole wheat bread has a glycemic index (GI) of
72.    Plain table sugar has a  glycemic index (GI) of 59

Wheat causes a greater spike in blood sugar than virtually any other food – more than
a candy bar, table sugar or ice cream – it also triggers greater insulin
release. –  Dr. William Davis (cardiologist)

Note to fellow Entrepreneurs

This summer I have been blessed to be in NYC taking care of my mother-in-law. We are getting to know each other on a whole new level, which is a good thing. Eating well, maintaining my weight, and exercising have been key.
This business has given me the freedom to do that. I enjoy spending time with entrepreneurs on the phone,  in NYC  and all over the country. They are smart about their health and the environment.  They are passionate about growing predictable passive income for now and the future. They love having the time and freedom to watch each day bloom through their own design.
I am interviewing those entrepreneurs who have sales and marketing experience, leadership skills, a history of success and are ready to add another stream of income.
